My $250 Max Studio Dress Thrifted for $6

Welcome Fine Linen and Purple readers, please stop a while, relax and enjoy my past looks and thrift finds! I post the prices and where I found each item at the bottom. Please email me with any questions you have.

Today I am guest posting at Fine Linen and Purple on my thrifting how-to's and best finds. Stop on over and check it out! Thanks to Emily and Kendra for featuring me today.

I found this dress a few months ago when I was on the hunt for more dresses. I love dresses because they are so easy to look good in. The right cut can be oh so feminine but also modest. The right print can take you to many occasions. I bought this dress thinking it would be nice for the fall to dress up for Church and playful for the spring/summer. I wore this to church with grey tights and a bold necklace.

I chose grey tights because the  pattern has grey, pink and orange. Unfortunately, I was all out of orange tights :) The metal captoe shoes reminded me of the "metal" chain like pattern on the dress. The BEST part about this dress is that I thought it was a sub-brand of BCBG Max Azria (a fave designer of mine). I went to look up Max Studio online and found it is actually by Leon Max and that it is a LOT MORE EXPENSIVE than I thought!

The average price range was $150-400 for dresses with the majority lying in the close to $400 range!!! So we will say mine landed somewhere in the middle. I am even more excited because even though the pattern and cut were unusual-it just felt designer looking and it turns out it was!

Dress; Max Studio (Savers $6)
Necklace; Forever 21 (clearance $3)
Tights; Mervyns years ago
Shoes; Merona by Target (Goodwill $5)
Sunnies; $3.80 (Forever 21)
