I didn't exactly wear this to Church today because unfortunately I caught a stomach bug and have been bed ridden for the last few days. BUT if I were going to today-I would do a repeat of my Thursday outfit for Thanksgiving!
I was faced with rock bottom prices (for Anthro) of $20 and $40 for dresses that normally cost $150 or more!!! Then on top of the sale they had an EXTRA 25% OFF!!! I scored three dresses that originally were $420 for $66 total!!!!! I could not believe it. I had been saving my "fun" money for the month just in case something like this came up and I am so glad I did. Sigh...
Happy Thanksgiving everyone and may God Bless. I am so thankful for all my readers and thankful to the Lord for my wonderful hubby and children!!

thanks a ton for linking and huge kudos for the steals!! hope you post the other finds soon!!
Haha, Thanks! I know I only re-told my "finds story" to the hubbs ten times that day!!
ReplyDeleteYou make me want to run out to Anthropologie!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteI went back later that day without the kids just to be sure I didn't miss anything. I am telling you thought NEXT year I will be saving for aLONG time because they had good deals on Jewelry, sunglasses and scarves too-not to mention their BEAUTIFUK dishes and lamps, pillows. Sigh...love that store
DeleteYou were simply stunning in this! The color is gorgeous and those pears were perfection!
ReplyDelete*pearls* not pears....unless you were secretly wearing some ;)
DeleteMan, how did you know? It was going to be my new signature perfume-pear sauce. Oh yea! Just kidding...I knew what you meant. Thanks for noticing the necklace.
DeleteI thought a $14 Anthro dress was going to be a story about an awesome thrift store find, but $14 for NEW off the rack!! Way to go. It's beautiful and I love the shoes too, they give a sly little wink the Pilgrims way on Thanksgiving, but are just play stylish any other time.
ReplyDeleteHAHA! I know I still can't believe it. As I wear the other dresses I will definitely be showing them here! I never thought that about the shoes but you are so right-Pilgrim all the way!
DeleteNice! Way to score! I do hope you get well soon though!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the well wishes, Feeling much better today but now I have the mess of a house to clean up. Poor hubs took care of kids, me and had to work plus homework!
DeleteWe had the same idea! Great pairing, and what a steal!
ReplyDeleteThanks CJ, I was on cloud nine for days! For an uber thrifter like me this was the find of a century!
DeleteA $14 dress from a store like Anthro... who doesn't love a find like that?? I like that your tights have a little texture- plays nicely with the stripe in the dress :-)
ReplyDeleteBeautiful dress! You look stunning and so chic!
ReplyDeleteThank you. I never curl my hair because it takes forever but this was a special occasion.
DeleteI love the cut of the dress and you look fabulous in it!
ReplyDeleteThanks Kiera! I usually don't like the lower to longer hemlines in the back but this one had just the perfect difference to be elegant.
Deletesuper score on the dress, it is super cute on you! Feel better!!
ReplyDeleteThanks Tracy, Feeling much better today but off to cleaning now!
Deletelove navy and black! great dress too...i've never bought anything from anthro b/c my budget would strangle me if i did but i'd have loved to find this deal! great job!
ReplyDeleteI know what mean about Anthro being expensive. Now that I have discovered this-I do believe I will be saving all year because they had great deals on jewelry, scarves, dishes and lovely blazers!
DeleteI second the navy and black love...and your sash! So cute!
ReplyDeleteI was completely up in the air about which color of tights to wear but once I paired the black heels with my tights-it was all tied together!
DeleteLove the look, esp. the sash! You found an awesome deal- I was just in Anthro on Sunday and the sale prices were more like $99.:)
ReplyDeleteCould not agree more Lisa! I always despair when going to the sale rack. Lol. I love to go for inspiration but I thought maybe they would have a sale where I could snag a great versatile dress for $50 (a huge splurge for me) and wow!! I found the deals of the year. I am so glad we stumbled upon it before Black Friday because I am sure they were pretty picked through by then.
