Is it okay to brag sometimes? Well I hope so because this is my sometime. I love Christmas. And I love everything Christmas including the Grandma Christmas sweaters, Christmas shoes and elf socks. They have never been "trendy" though it does not stop me from sporting these looks.
Long story, short if I love it enough-I will get it and find a way to MAKE it look trendy. This was my thought when I saw these red plaid shoes at Savers for a whopping $3.99 with an extra 20% off coupon on top of that!
Here is the bragging part!! These plaid beauties just showed up in the Jcrew Christmas catalog for $248!! I smiled from ear to ear when I saw that I was right about the striking beauty of a strong plaid print.

ohmygoodness I love those!! I feel like red is the perfect color for bringing in the holiday spirit and beating the winter blues. And a plaid just feels so classic. I've had my eye out for a red plaid scarf but think it looks GREAT on a pair of flats...especially ones that are just $3!!
